I have seen reviews of this figure on YouTube and he is hard to transform. He is as what the fans say a parts-former (where you take it apart and rebuild it as the robot). The only thing that transforms is the tank that forms his head, torso, upper arms, and upper legs. If I could get this guy free I would say “only the tank”. I will just leave him in base mode. Overall rating 1-10.
This toy is a lot of fun and an amazing reissue to get. I would get one now since in a few years they will probably be gone forever. Well built and great toy.
Omega Supreme is almost a foot tall in robot mode. He’s very tall. He transforms into a rocket base. He’s composed of 26 pieces. Being the tank as the main function, A,B,C,D are brown ramps which are also his leg shells, the smallest yellow clips hold together the ramp beneath, those clips also hold the boots together on back up top,E,F,G,H are his smaller brown ramp plates that serves as his thighs,I,J,K,L,M are his outer beige ramps,L,M serves as the wings on his rocket pack, the rocket back pack along his sable walking boots, and both the two large yellow front boot clips and medium clips on the back heel that hold up his boots also form parts of the lauching rocket platform that snap on his two boots. Finally his two arm halves form the rocket. The orange flames below the rocket also happens to be his claw like hand. The tip of his rocket also works as an arm cannon weapon in robot mode. He really spits into many parts when he is transformed. Some people call him a puzzle former. Omega is one of the very few electronic transformer toys. His batteries are not included. They have to be two AAs as before. They go inside the red compartment door in the middle of the tank. His tank rolls around the ramp ,while his head rotates being an armed tank turret with his face also glowing red as it blinks. Finally they added a face piece that goes inside the orange transparent plastic on back of the tank turret. A real nice touch. In robot mode his head doesn’t automatically turn anymore ,and as you pull out his two tank tracks they both happen to be his legs. They also serve as his walking mechanism gimmick. As his legs move up and down his feet slide foward. As you slide his tank tracks back into tank mode, you have to be very careful. Where it says push down with an arrow on each side with tracks. You got to do it with caution. As you easily push down you hear a clicking sound on that track. That is when you slide each track back in. Cause if you force that tank track back in you can damage the walking mechanism inside the tank. Possibly disabling it causing it to not walk anymore ,and the tracks also won’t slide in easily anymore. So be very careful. It also includes label sheet and instructions. The box it is the same one as g1 but the insert is not foam anymore but it is plastic and around underneath it, it has a brown card board attached to it with tape. This is one of the greater encore releases ,and it is a great piece to have in any TF fan collection.
Omega Supreme is a large Guardian robot on the Autobot’s side- he is fun and a bit more like a puzzle than a true transformer because you put parts together to form the Robot and take parts apart to create a rocket launching base. He is fun because you can put batteries in the tank and it will ride the tracks like a train set. It takes a little more patience to transform him but it is worth it because he is fun to use-and all parts including the tracks are cleverly engineered to put him together and all parts are also cleverly engineered to create a working rocket launching base. Omega Supreme is a great part of any Transformers collection.
